Federation of Families of South Carolina to hold statewide art contest for the South Carolina Children’s Mental Health awareness poster

December 10, 2019

The Federation of Families of South Carolina will hold a statewide Art Contest in recognition of Children’s Mental Health Month. This year’s Art Contest theme is “Messengers of Hope.” During the month of May, the Federation of Families of South Carolina celebrates National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week and recognizes the month of May as Children’s Mental Health Month.

For the past 17 years, the South Carolina Children’s Mental Health Awareness Art Contest has been a positive, creative outlet to raise awareness and help eliminate stigma that keeps children and youth from being identified and treated for their behavioral and/or mental health needs. The 2020 Poster will be designed using the winning art that best represents the theme “Messengers of Hope.”

The prizes are: 1st place: $100, 2nd place: $50 & 3rd place: $25

An entry form must be completed and submitted with artwork. All entry forms and additional art contest materials can be found and downloaded at https://fedfamsc.org/art-contest/
