“Our team is thrilled to have Fellow Countyrmen as our Q1 recipient,” says Warren Griffith, President and CEO of FUEL. “We had some incredible non-profit organizations submit applications for the first grant, making it tough for our team to make a final selection. It’s going to be extremely rewarding to work with Fellow Countrymen and support such a worthy cause and our veterans to whom we owe a great debt.”

Fellow Countrymen’s mission is to end veteran homelessness within the Upstate of South Carolina. The organization currently provides two homes for homeless veterans in Greenville, SC which has housed 45 veterans and additionally provided services and assistance to over 760 veterans.

Together with FUEL’s help, we know we can ignite a fire throughout our community to end Veteran homelessness here within the 13 counties of the Upstate.”

Fellow Countrymen plans to utilize the grant to enhance their website and social media presence, as well as to help promote their upcoming fundraiser to help end Veteran homelessness.
