Finding Christmas in Laurens County – Updated
November 30, 2021It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Laurens County is getting ready!
Here’s a lineup of some of the festivities this weekend.
Thursday, December 2nd
Tree Lighting and Light Show in Clinton – 6:00 pm.
Bring the family out for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00 pm at 211 N. Broad Street. The light show will begin on Dec. 2nd and run through Jan 2.
A Christmas Concert – First United Methodist Church (244 W. Main Street, Laurens) – 7:00 pm. Music is provided by Kingdom Come (Mark Simpson, Craig Thomson, Danny Verdin, Tom Morrison, and Andrew Verdin).
Friday, December 3rd
Broad Street Antiques 2nd Annual Sip & Stroll – 5-8:00 pm. Come to Clinton (204 N. Broad Street) and find that special gift for those hard to buy for. The Vestibule will be there with hot chocolate and other vendors will also be set up.
Tree Lighting in Laurens – 7:15 pm
Main Street Laurens and the Laurens YMCA present the Christmas Tree lighting. Santa will be hanging out at Verdin’s Too waiting for you to come by for a photo, but you do need a reservation. Tickets may be purchased The Laurens YMCA!!
Stores will be open late for your shopping pleasure and will have sweet treats for the kiddos!
Saturday, December 4th
The Clinton Christmas Parade – 10:00 am
Take your place along Broad Street and enjoy the parade!
Basket Case Gift Fair – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
After the parade head over to 973 Old Milton Road, Clinton for some apple cider, baked treats and Christmas shopping in their outside shopping fair. You’ll find creative gifts for all occasions and all budgets, and an exciting display of Amaryllis flowers available in decorative bags and baskets. Place orders for gifts to be designed and delivered.
Christmas at PC – 7:00 pm
