FinTrust Announces the Addition of John Hirt

GREENVILLE, SC – FinTrust Investment Advisors announced that John Hirt has joined the firm.
“As Managing Director of Capital Markets, John will be responsible for leading efforts to expand this division of our firm” stated Partner Allen Gillespie.
Prior to joining FinTrust, Hirt was Managing Director and National Sales Manager for Raymond James. He also served on the senior management committee for the Fixed Income Capital Markets group. Hirt began his career at First Tennessee Bank before joining Morgan Keegan to lead their Fixed Income Capital Markets group for 15 years. He graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Geneva College and an Engineering MBA from Emory University.
Hirt is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the artistic selection committee for Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, WV, the board of the Visible School Music and Worship Art College and active with the Leadership Foundations. In addition, he is married and the father of two.
