First Choice Fit® Marcus Lattimore football camps announced

Community health fairs offered to campers and the public at no charge. 

The Xtra Inch, in partnership with Select Health of South Carolina’s First Choice Medicaid health plan, presents First Choice Fit® Marcus Lattimore youth football camps this summer for boys and girls ages 5-17. All First Choice Fit camps will be accompanied by a community health fair offered to campers, their families and the public at no charge. The first 25 First Choice Medicaid health plan members to register for each camp will receive full camp scholarships.

Each camp begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 2 p.m. Camp sign-in, which includes health screenings for camp participants, begins promptly at 8 a.m. Body composition (height, weight and waist), body mass index (BMI) and BMI percentile will be offered to everyone, and total body fat percentage will be available for ages 10 and up. Football drills will follow with closing remarks and lunch at 1:15 p.m. Health screenings and education will be open to campers’ families and the public once drills get under way.

Registration for all camps is now open at www.marcuslattimore.com/camps. Lattimore is waiving the $40 fee for the first 25 First Choice plan members who register by calling Tricia with First Choice at 1-843-569-4643. First Choice membership will be verified and camp scholarships are limited to one per First Choice member per year.

In addition, Lattimore will make a special appearance at the First Choice Jump-Start Back-to-School event Saturday, July 23, at the First Choice Community Center located at 3315 Broad River Road in Columbia. Lattimore will conduct an onsite drawing for additional Columbia camp slots to be given away.
