New banking hours offer consumers added convenience

ORANGEBURG, SC – First Citizens announced today that it will offer Saturday banking hours from 9 a.m. until noon at its 1225 St. Matthews Rd. branch. First Citizens will offer the same full-service banking on Saturday that is available Monday through Friday.

“With today’s busy lifestyles, we understand that it is more convenient for some consumers to take care of their banking needs on a Saturday as opposed to during the typical work week,” said Mike Wolfe, executive vice president and division executive for Orangeburg/Sumter. “We are very excited about being able to serve our customers six days a week.”

Gail Fogle, First Citizens relationship manager, will move to the St. Matthews Road branch from the bank’s Russell Street branch, which consolidated into the Broughton Street branch last month. “Gail’s strong leadership and knowledge of the area will continue to help us provide superior service to consumers in the Orangeburg community,” said Wolfe.

In addition to its St. Matthews Road location, First Citizens has branches and ATMs at 791 Broughton St. and 1820 Columbia Rd. to serve Orangeburg residents.
