First Citizens Bancorporation Announces Branch Consolidation

COLUMBIA, SC – April 30, 2009 – First Citizens Bancorporation, Inc. announced today that it will consolidate the First Citizens branch located at 610 W. Moultrie St. in Winnsboro into the First Citizens branch located at 111 S. Congress St. The branches are located approximately one mile apart.
“After thoughtful review of the branches in Winnsboro, we determined the consolidation of the 610 W. Moultrie St. branch into the 111 S. Congress St. branch will provide our customers and associates a more accessible and convenient location,” said First Citizens Executive Vice President and Central Division Executive Sharon Bryant.
All accounts currently served by the 610 W. Moultrie St. branch will be automatically transferred to the 111 S. Congress St. location. Customers will receive a letter explaining the changes prior to the June 29, 2009 consolidation. Every effort will be made to reassign associates impacted by this consolidation.
