First Citizens Hires Grant Scurry as Retail Sales Manager

CHARLESTON, SC – July 17, 2012 – First Citizens announced that Grant Scurry has joined the company as Retail Sales Manager. Scurry will be responsible for identifying strategies to help existing retail and small business customers meet their unique financial goals, meeting with prospective customers to inform them of the bank’s available products and services, and representing First Citizens in the James Island community. He will be based at the company’s Folly Road branch, located at 462 Folly Road.

Prior to joining First Citizens, Scurry served as a branch manager for SunTrust.
A native of Spartanburg, S.C., Scurry earned his bachelor’s degree from Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. He serves as an advisory board member for The Music Initiative, an organization that supports musicians in the Charleston area.
