First Citizens Hires Michael Wooles as New Anderson City Executive

ANDERSON, SC – First Citizens today announced that Michael Wooles has been selected to serve as Anderson City Executive. In this newly-created role, Wooles will be responsible for leading the bank’s three branch locations in Anderson and enhancing the company’s business development efforts in the area. He will be based at First Citizens’ Anderson Main branch, located 102 North Main Street.
“Michael has a strong history of leading successful teams, deepening customer relationships and uncovering new opportunities,” said Jimmy Gulledge, Executive Vice President and Upstate Division Executive for First Citizens. “He is a well-known, engaged member of the community, and we are glad to have him as a part of the First Citizens team.”
Prior to joining the bank, Wooles served as market president for Wells Fargo in Oconee and Pickens Counties. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from North Carolina State University and currently resides in Anderson.
