First Community Bank Donates to Palmer Place in Camden

LEXINGTON, SC – June 15, 2009 – First Community Bank, a local community bank with eleven offices in the Midlands, is pleased to announce the presentation of the Time of Your Life video and a donation to Thomasenia Robinson, manager of Palmer Place in Camden on June 4, 2009. Ms. Robinson plans on using the funds to purchase rocking chairs for the facility’s residents to enjoy. Olivia Derrick, Loan Officer/Commercial Banker for the Camden banking center, presented the check and video on behalf of the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation and First Community Bank.
The objective of the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation is to reduce crime in the nation’s senior housing facilities. First Community Bank is honored to be a part of the effort to provide safe, secure and high quality-of-life environments for senior housing residents.
