First Community Bank Works with Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation

COLUMBIA, SC – April 13, 2009 – First Community Bank, a local community bank with eleven offices in the Midlands, is pleased to announce the presentation of the Time of Your Life video and a donation to Irene Metz, manager of Lakeside Apartments in Irmo on April 8, 2009.  Ms. Metz plans on using the funds to replace sitting chairs in the facility’s common area.  Making the presentation on behalf of the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation and First Community Bank were Michael Cromer, Commercial Banker in Irmo, and Shelly Paquette, Business Services Specialist in Lexington.

The objective of the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation (a non-profit organization based in Memphis, Tennessee) is to reduce crime in the nation’s senior housing facilities.  First Community Bank is honored to be a part of the effort to provide safe, secure, and high quality-of-life environments for senior housing residents.
