First Community Bank’s Jeff P. Spears appointed to the University of South Carolina Board of Visitors

First Community Bank senior vice president and regional market president in Augusta, GA, Jeff P. Spears, has been appointed to serve as the second judicial district representative to the University of South Carolina Board of Visitors.

The Board of Visitors assists the Board of Trustees and President Bob Caslen on issues related to the promotion of the university, including encouraging alumni participation and inviting broad public support for the University’s mission.

Spears joined the team at First Community Bank in 2014. His banking career spans 40 years in the Central Savannah River Area.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Spears serves on the board of directors for the USC Aiken Partnership, the Pinnacle Club and First Tee Augusta.
