August 13, 2009

COLUMBIA, SC – August 13, 2009 – Fisher & Phillips LLP, a national labor and employment law firm with its South Carolina office in Columbia, is proud to announce that attorney Reyburn W. Lominack III has been selected for the 2009-10 Leadership Columbia class. Lominack is one of only 65 business and community leaders selected to participate in this civic opportunity to better serve the community.

I am really looking forward to this opportunity to develop my understanding of, and appreciation for, our Midlands community and the challenges our government and business leaders face during these difficult economic times,” said Lominack, whose practice focuses exclusively on representing management in labor and employment matters, including discrimination and wrongful discharge claims, wage and hour issues, and collective bargaining disputes.

Leadership Columbia is a nine-month program sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. For one full day a month, class members attend sessions where local leaders of various specialties share their knowledge through lively discussion and activities that highlight real situations, needs and opportunities within the Midlands.

“We are honored that Reyburn has been selected to participate in a such a respected leadership program,” said managing partner Jonathan Pearson. “This reinforces our firm’s longstanding commitment to the community and will be an excellent opportunity for Reyburn to further enhance the leadership skills and community relationships our clients value.”

The mission of Leadership Columbia is to offer a program for Greater Columbia’s promising leaders that help them better understand how their community works, build relationships with fellow leaders and become inspired to focus their talents in a way which will best serve the community.
