C. Edward Rawl, Jr. is an associate in the Columbia office. Rawl’s practice includes litigating employment related disputes involving wrongful discharge, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, as well as other types of employment based claims. In addition, Edward represents developers and property managers of government-financed and assisted multifamily housing projects in the defense of fair housing and public accommodation claims. He counsels employers, property management companies, and owners on all aspects of employment and fair housing laws and the development of preventative policies and procedures to avoid employment and fair housing claims. He has appeared before state and federal tribunals in South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio and Kansas, as well as the appellate courts in South Carolina.
