COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 11, 2007- Four Columbia attorneys at Fisher & Phillips LLP have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2008®.  The Columbia attorneys, who specialize in labor and employment law, are Senior Partner Daniel Ellzey, and Managing Partner Jonathan Pearson, Partner Hagood Tighe and Partner Michael Carrouth.

Biographical Information

Jonathan Pearson is a managing partner in the Columbia office of the national labor and employment law firm. His practice emphasizes traditional labor law, as well as a wide range of employment litigation including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and FLSA. He also frequently assists employers in union contract negotiations and in dealing with strike-related issues. Jon is certified as a specialist in labor and employment law by the South Carolina Supreme Court and is past Chairman of the Labor and Employment Section of the South Carolina Bar.
