Five outstanding PGA Tour Pros have been added to the RBC Heritage field

March 29, 2016

Luke Donald, Brian Gay, Jamie Lovemark, Sean O’Hair and Ian Poulter have all committed to the 48th annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event is taking place April 11-17, 2016 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.

Jason Day, Ernie Els, Branden Grace, Bill Haas, Zach Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Davis Love III, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker are also slated to compete over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.

Donald consistently plays well at the RBC Heritage.  He is making his 11th start and has only missed the cut two times and has carded five top ten finishes previously at Harbour Town. Donald has earned five victories on the PGA TOUR and eight International titles. The Englishman now calls Chicago home since graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in Art Theory and Practice.

Gay won the 2009 RBC Heritage by a record 10 strokes, topping Davis Love III’s seven-stroke win in 1998. His 20-under 264 total broke Loren Roberts’ previous tournament scoring record of 19-under in 1996.  He has won five times on the PGA TOUR. He was forced to sit out the entire 2015 season due to a back injury.

Lovemark is making his first start at Harbour Town. The University of Southern California graduate has enjoyed a great season so far carding four top ten finishes including a T6 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

O’Hair has earned four PGA TOUR victories since turning pro during his senior year of high school in 1999. The Texas native has competed in the RBC Heritage seven times and has carded two top ten finishes.

Poulter has won twice on the PGA TOUR and he also has 13 International victories.  The Englishman will be making his sixth appearance at Harbour Town.
