Five Points Association to Donate 6th Annual Bar Stool Classic Proceeds to Charity

October 13, 2014

COLUMBIA, SC – The 6th Annual Bar Stool Classic in Five Points was a huge success.  With 11 different bars and restaurants as putt-putt tour stops, the event attracted over 165 participants to Columbia’s favorite downtown district on October 3rd, 2014.  For six years, the Five Points Association and the Babcock Center Foundation have partnered to host this event, which generated $6,438 this year for people with lifelong disabilities.

The 6th Annual Long’s Bar Stool Classic would not have been possible without the generous support of businesses across the midlands, including: Long’s Drugs, Checker Yellow, Life HME, Michelob Ultra, Proforma, Security Federal, Bar None, Blazing Copper, Breakers, CJ’s, Group Therapy, Jake’s, Moosehead Saloon, Pinch, The Bird Dog, Village Idiot and Yesterday’s.
