Flock and Rally’s Chloe Rodgers accepted to Columbia Chamber’s Leadership Columbia Class of 2015-2016

July 31, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Flock and Rally: Events + Communications for a Brave New South, a boutique public relations, marketing and event planning agency based in Columbia, S.C., announces the acceptance of Account Manager Chloe Rodgers to the Leadership Columbia Class of 2015-2016.

Leadership Columbia is a Columbia Chamber program that recognizes emerging and existing community leaders who hold potential to move Columbia forward, and offers them a unique opportunity to grow professionally and personally among likeminded individuals through team collaboration in exploring regional issues, fine tuning leadership skills and harnessing individual passions and perspectives.

Over a period of 10 months, Rodgers and fellow participants will attend a retreat and eight leadership sessions, and will complete a hands-on class project – gaining a greater understanding of regional issues, while building relationships with others who are equally passionate about their community.

The program – founded in 1973 and graduating more than 1,600 professional alumni across the country – allows participants an insiders’ look into their community, and ways to apply their own skills into contributing to it. Class members will learn more about the different viewpoints, cultures and passions that comprise Columbia, S.C., while sharing their own perspectives and ideas, and networking with key business and community leaders.

Rodgers holds a degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina and has been an integral member of the Flock and Rally team since December 2012. She uses her expertise in public relations and marketing strategy to develop, implement and manage effective campaigns for multiple clients.

Outside of Flock and Rally, Rodgers is a charter member of the American Marketing Association – Columbia, S.C. chapter, and a member of Columbia Opportunity Resource, Richland Library Friends and the Nickelodeon Theatre.

Rodgers’ current projects include the Five Points Association, Motor Supply Co. Bistro, EngenuitySC, Central Carolina Community Foundation, Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College, Famously Hot New Year, Blue Flour Bakery, Crafty Feast and Two Brothers Jerky. Other projects in which Rodgers has a hand include Original Pancake House, ConvergeSE, 701 CCA’s Columbia Open Studios, Southern Community Services, Lake Carolina and Cayce Mayor Elise Partin.
