Founder of Circa PR Charleston to speak at CSW 2012

COLUMBIA, SC – April 4, 2012 – Katie Kern, founder of Circa PR, isscheduled to speak and host a workshop at Columbia Style Week 2012 inJune.

Founded by Katie Kern, Circa PR, is renowned forits creative and detailed approach to today’s communicationchallenges.                                                                                                 
For more than 10 years, Katie Kern has had her finger on the pulse ofthe public relations and marketing industry.  Her well roundedexperience has spanned from corporate America where she worked for oneof the largest footwear companies in the world to managing multipleaccounts in an ad agency environment.

In 2011, Ms. Kern founded the Charleston Eco Fashion Event.  Theevent showcases independent fashion designers who make strides tosupport and embrace responsible eco-friendly philosophies.

Some of Ms. Kern’s more unique experiences have been moonlighting asthe society editor for Charleston Magazine and serving on the 2007 and2008 steering committees of Charleston Fashion Week®.  She was also ajudge for the 2009 and 2010 Charleston Fashion Week model casting.  Sheis also a member and PR director of The Fashion Group International® ofCharleston.
