Fountain Inn Fire Department Holds First-Ever Signing Day, Welcomes Alijah Reager to the Team

Reager, who interned with the department for the past year, will join B Shift following graduation this week.

Fountain Inn Fire Department marked a milestone last week, hosting its first-ever official signing day to welcome Alijah Reager as a full-time member of the department.

Reager spent the past year as an intern with the department, where he quickly earned a reputation for his work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to service. Department leaders say he consistently went above and beyond, whether supporting daily operations or putting in extra hours to broaden his experience.

“From day one, he showed a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a dedication to serving wherever he was needed,” department officials said. “We have watched him grow tremendously during his time with us.”

Following his graduation this week, Reager will begin his probationary year assigned to B Shift, where he will complete extensive training, testing, and certifications as he launches his career in the fire service.

The Fountain Inn Fire Department is inviting the community to join in congratulating Reager as he officially begins his journey with the department.
