Fountain Inn girls golf clinches historic county ‘three-peat’

The Fountain Inn High School girls golf team continued its unchallenged reign over the county this week, capturing its third straight County Championship title and cementing the program’s reputation as an area powerhouse.
The Fury secured the coveted “three-peat” behind a pair of commanding, poised performances at the very top of the tournament leaderboard.
Spencer Harvey paced the field on the championship course, firing a stellar round of 72 to run away with the Individual County Championship honors. Harvey’s steady play set the tone early, keeping Fountain Inn comfortably out front through all 18 holes.

Backing Harvey up was teammate Aubrie Dennis, who earned All-County honors after delivering a sharp round of 77. Dennis’s top-tier finish shut the door on the competition, locking down the team victory with strokes to spare.
With three consecutive county trophies now residing on the Fury campus, Fountain Inn has firmly established itself as the premier high school girls golf standard in the Upstate.
