Fountain Inn Police Department Honors Lieutenant Bobby Nelson Upon Retirement After 28 Years of Service

Lt. Nelson’s retirement caps off a distinguished 28-year career with the agency, during which he witnessed and helped guide the department through periods of significant growth, modernization, and community transformation.
In a statement honoring his departure, the Fountain Inn Police Department praised Lt. Nelson as a steady, reliable presence whose influence extended far beyond standard daily operations.
“Throughout nearly three decades, Lt. Over his 28 years on the force, Lt.
