Fountain Inn Seeks Applicants for Zoning Appeals Board

The City of Fountain Inn is currently seeking applicants for two open seats on the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)—one Member at Large seat and one Ward 4-specific seat.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is a citizen-led body that plays a vital role in upholding the integrity of the City’s zoning regulations. The BZA reviews appeals of zoning decisions, considers requests for variances from zoning ordinances, and evaluates applications for special exceptions. This board ensures that land use decisions remain consistent with City ordinances while addressing unique circumstances.

Member at Large: This position is open to any resident who lives within the City limits.

Ward 4 Seat: Applicants for this position must reside within the boundaries of the designated Ward. View Ward Map
Serving on the BZA is an opportunity to help shape the future development of our community. Ideal candidates are thoughtful, civic-minded residents with a willingness to study local zoning regulations and participate in regular board meetings. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month.
