Fountain Inn To Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Utilities Complex Fountain Inn, SC:

The City of Fountain Inn will be holding a Groundbreaking Ceremony for its brand-new Utilities Complex.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at the site of the new Utilities Complex at 435 Telfair St. in Fountain Inn on Friday, October 21st at 10 am. Mayor George Patrick “GP” Mcleer will speak along with staff.

The City of Fountain Inn is excited to begin work on its new Utilities complex that will house its Natural Gas and Public Works Departments, which have been based out of a facility on Wall St. In the heart of downtown. The movement of the facility to the Laurens County side of the city will allow these departments to better serve the residents of Fountain Inn.

The new Utilities Complex will include dedicated office space for both departments, shared spaces, new locker rooms, a truck wash station, enhanced material storage, a heated enclosed area, enclosed vehicle bays, and a covered area.
