Fourteen advance through inaugural Spartanburg Political Leadership Institute

On Wednesday, May 25, the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce launched its inaugural Spartanburg Political Leadership Institute program, designed to educate current and potential elected officials about the election process and what it means to be a public servant.

During the Spartanburg Political Leadership Institute, aspiring public leaders were educated on what to expect and how to approach a campaign. Participants learned from experts about election processes and offices, media and public relations, the aspects of public service, business issues, and more.

Fourteen aspiring leaders have completed the educational program:
