Fowler Re-Elected Secretary-Treasurer of SC Bar Foundation

CHARLESTON, SC – July 24, 2012 – Turner Padget Graham & Laney,P.A. announces that Elaine H. Fowler has been elected to serve asSecretary-Treasurer of the South Carolina Bar Foundation, which servesas the philanthropic arm of the South Carolina Bar. 

The missionof Foundation is to fund the advancement of justice by improving accessto justice through civil legal aid, law related education for the publicand improving the accountability and administration of the justicesystem.  

Ms. Fowler has also been elected to serve another term as Chairof the Leadership Development Committee of the Charleston RegionalDevelopment Alliance for FY 2012-2013 and will again be serving on theExecutive Committee of CRDA.  CRDA is a private nonprofit organizationformed to promote long-term economic development in the Charlestonregion by leading a global marketing effort to attract world-classbusinesses and talent and to facilitate new, high-value businessinvestment within Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties. 

Ms.Fowler is a resident in the Charleston office and is a member of thefirm’s Business Transactions Group. In addition to devoting much time toher legal career, she is committed to service in her community and,among other activities, serves as Vice-Chair of the Sullivan’s IslandPlanning Commission.
