Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a regional full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, and construction services, is scheduled to start work in the coming weeks on The Belvidere, a five-story office building in Charleston, S.C. White Point Partners is developing the project, and JLL is the leasing agent for the speculative office space.
In addition to the 112,635-square-foot Class A spec office building, the four-acre site will also house a four-story, 125,748-square-foot parking deck with approximately 300 spaces. Limited surface parking will be available along the side of the office building as well.
The building will be constructed of structural steel with exterior finishes of glass, brick, stucco, metal panels, and canopies. The parking deck will be built with pre-cast concrete and will feature multi-colored mesh panels on the two visible sides.

In addition to office space, the first floor of the building is set to include a restaurant and coffee shop, with the remaining four floors dedicated to tenant office space. A bike rental facility will be located at the base of the parking deck, and the space between the building and parking deck will be a public park featuring extensive landscaping, a ping pong area, putting green, and outdoor seating.

Located at Meeting Street and Algonquin Road in the upper peninsula area, The Belvidere will neighbor the new US Foods CHEF’STORE, also built by Frampton Construction. Work on the project is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2020.
