Free tax preparation at the W.R. Rogers Adult Education Center

Richland Two’s W.R. Rogers Adult, Continuing & Technology Education Center has some great news for taxpayers. The Center is partnering with SC Thrive to offer free state and federal income tax preparation. Anyone making $65,000 or less is eligible. If married filing jointly, your adjusted gross income must be $95,000 or less. Eligible clients can claim the Earned Income Tax Credit and can also apply for other work supports such as health care coverage, home energy assistance, child care subsidies and food assistance.
The free service will be offered, Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the W.R. Rogers Center located at 750 Old Clemson Road. Space is limited and an appointment is necessary. Reserve your spot today by calling 803.736.8787.
