Front Porch Housing Golf Classic to raise support for Greenville individuals and families

Front Porch Housing will bring together approximately 100 golfers, sponsors and community partners on Monday, Sept. 14 at Carolina Springs Golf Course for the 2026 Front Porch Housing Golf Classic, an annual fundraiser supporting the Greenville nonprofit’s mission of helping individuals and families achieve long-term stability.
Front Porch Housing helps individuals and families address the challenges that can make long-term stability difficult. The organization invests more than $2 million annually in direct supportive services, providing residents with resources to pursue employment, financial security, improved health and stronger family relationships.
“Community support allows us to provide more than a place to live. It helps us offer the relationships, resources and support residents need to build long-term stability,” said LeeAnne Cavin, CEO of Front Porch Housing. “The Golf Classic brings people together around this mission, and every donation helps us continue supporting individuals and families as they work toward a stronger future.”
Last year’s Front Porch Housing Golf Classic raised nearly $60,000 to support the organization’s mission. That amount is roughly equivalent to six months of counseling services for Front Porch Housing residents.
Support for Front Porch Housing extends beyond the Golf Classic, with community members able to make a donation to help provide housing, resources and support for individuals and families working toward long-term stability.
