FUEL – a Greenville, S.C.-based brand building agency – announced that it has selected Heart of Hospitality GVL as the FUEL for Good Grant recipient for 2H 2024. Heart of Hospitality GVL was founded to provide emergency assistance to Greenville County hospitality industry employees in times of personal crisis.

“Heart of Hospitality GVL is excited to receive this grant from FUEL to develop a strong and engaging brand for our new emergency assistance program,” said Lenza Jolley, vice president of membership and development at the SC Restaurant and Lodging Association. “This collaboration with FUEL will help ensure our program effectively supports and reaches as many hospitality employees as possible in Greenville County.”

FUEL created the FUEL for Good Grant program in 2020 as a tangible way to give back to its community and help local nonprofits. To date, FUEL has donated more than 1,200 hours of service, with work ranging from brand strategy and logo development to social media campaigns and marketing collateral.

“We are thrilled to partner with Heart of Hospitality GVL and help them in their mission to support hospitality workers in times of need,” said Mary Church Cornette, FUEL CEO and head of creative. “Establishing a strong brand is crucial for any organization, and we look forward to working with Heart of Hospitality GVL on a strong foundation on which to build. We know they will make a significant impact in our community.”
