FUEL’s Catherine Crandall named one of Greenville’s Best & Brightest

Catherine Crandall, senior art director at FUEL marketing agency, has been named one of Greenville Business Magazine’s Best & Brightest Under 35 for 2021. In its 27th year, the annual recognition program honors local professionals aged 35 or younger for excelling in their careers and making contributions to the community.

Crandall brings a deep understanding of visual design, branding, and marketing strategy and consistently delivers creative vision and ideas to agency clients. Her work has has been recognized through ADDY awards, the leading ad industry award program through the American Advertising Federation.

“Catherine is an outstanding creative professional who exemplifies a strong work ethic and a continuous drive to learn and grow in her career,” said Mary Church Cornette, vice president/creative director at FUEL. “She is certainly one of the best and brightest, and she will continue to have an impact on the community through her kind-heartedness and passion to make things better for those around her.”

Crandall has served on the advisory council for Greenville Technical College’s Visual Arts Department and contributed her insights to help advance the graphic design curriculum to fully prepare students for a career upon program completion. She earned a certificate in Graphic Design from Greenville Tech and a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages with a concentration in Japanese Language and a minor in Anthropology from Clemson University.

Crandall worked at an ESL school for international students at the University of Arkansas and coordinated a language partner program to help international students connect with native English speakers. Most recently, she has been seeking opportunities to join forces with other like-minded creative professionals throughout the country to raise funds and build a stronger community through listening, talking, and understanding important issues centering around mental health and BIPOC equity. Crandall is a member of the FUEL Diversity, Equity & Inclusion panel and is collaborating with coworkers to develop DE&I initiatives.
