Garvin Design Group celebrates 22 years

Columbia-based architecture, interiors, and planning firm Garvin Design Group marked its 22nd anniversary on June 26, 2025. In its 22-year history, Garvin Design Group has established itself as a leader in design for higher education, historic preservation, K-12 education, hospitality, athletics, and commercial projects. The firm has grown to include 27 team members, amassed over $1.3 billion worth of project experience, and earned over 75 awards.
Over the past year, Garvin Design Group has continued to expand its portfolio with several notable projects that highlight its commitment to excellence and its ability to meet the evolving needs of its clients. Some of the firm’s ongoing and recently completed projects include:

In addition to its project achievements, Garvin Design Group is proud to recognize several staff accomplishments over the past year:
- Carlos Richardson returned to the firm as a full-time architectural designer
- Drew Butler joined the firm’s Interior Design team
- Jerome Simiyon became a licensed architect
- Jon Michael Williamson graduated from the Columbia Chamber’s Leadership Columbia program
- Kate Hughes became the firm’s full-time Office Manager
- Michael Caraballo joined the Palladium Society board
