Garvin Design Group welcomes two new Clemson grads to the firm

Garvin Design Group announced the recent hire of Clemson graduates, Alex Latham and Zach Whiteman. Alex graduated from Clemson University with her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 2014 and continued at Clemson to receive her Master of Architecture in 2016. While at Clemson, she spent a semester studying in Barcelona. Alex also spent a semester in Orange County, California where she competed in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon as a member of Clemson’s team, Indigo Pine. Her love for sustainable, efficient design is something she plans to incorporate in practice.

Zach graduated from Clemson University in 2016 with dual bachelor degrees in Architecture and Spanish. During his time at Clemson, he participated in the National Scholars Program, the Calhoun Honors College, and received the Rudolph E. Lee Award in the School of Architecture.  Zach is excited to incorporate architecture’s ability to solve urban issues while maintaining a positive social impact in his work at Garvin Design. He plans to continue his architectural education with a Master’s degree and pursue licensure as an architect.
