GCSD Librarian Jenny Cox receives national “I Love My Librarian” award

Georgetown County School District is proud to announce that Jenny Cox has been selected as one of ten recipients nationwide of the American Library Association’s prestigious “I Love My Librarian” Award.

This national recognition honors librarians who have demonstrated exceptional service to their communities by fostering a love of reading, supporting student achievement, and creating innovative learning environments. Selected from nominations across the country, recipients of this award represent the very best in the profession.
