Gearing up for Flight of the Dove – Snack Donations Requested

Hospice of Laurens County is gearing up for Flight of the Dove on Saturday, August 6 and they need your help.

This annual event is their biggest fundraiser each year. Now in its 17^th year, the event has grown in popularity, drawing riders from all over South Carolina and surrounding states.  Registration in recent years has been around 300 riders and they are expecting the same or more this year.

Members of the community, If able, are asked to donate individually wrapped snacks that will be provided to the riders throughout the event. Items suggested include but are not limited to: rice krispy treats, fruit chews, trail mix, protein breakfast bars or cases of Coke/Pepsi or Diet Coke/Pepsi.

Donations can be dropped off at Hospice (1304 Springdale Drive, Clinton) before Thursday, August 4.
