Get ready to dance: Georgetown’s Music in the Park summer concert series announced

Summer is officially on the horizon, and that means it’s time to lace up your dancing shoes! The Georgetown Business Association’s highly anticipated Music in the Park concert series is returning for the 2026 summer season, promising a spectacular lineup of live music, dancing, and community fun.

Hosted at the scenic Maritime Park, this year’s series carries the theme “Time to dance like nobody’s watching,” inviting locals and visitors alike to gather by the water and enjoy live music with family and friends.

• Location: Maritime Park, 729 Front Street, Georgetown, SC

2026 Concert Lineup

This year’s schedule features an exciting mix of energetic performances, with the popular Myrtle Beach dance band Ntranze opening the series on Saturday, June 6. Then, the popular Chairman of the Board return to the Georgetown waterfront on Friday, July 3 with their soulful sound; Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot take the stage on Saturday, August 1; and The Embers close out the summer series with some good old beach music at their Friday, August 28 concert.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable evening, attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets. Beer and wine will be available for sale on-site, and outside coolers are strictly prohibited.
