GHS physician named to national board

GREENVILLE, SC – Kenneth M. Rogers, MD, MSHS, chair of Greenville Health System and University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville departments of psychiatry, was recently elected to the American College of Psychiatrists. Dedicated to promoting the latest advances and supporting the highest standards in psychiatry, the American College of Psychiatrists is one of the most prestigious organizations in the nation for practicing psychiatrists. Membership is reserved for psychiatrists who demonstrate outstanding knowledge and skill in the field of behavioral health and have achieved national recognition for his or her clinical experience, research, academic leadership and teaching.

Dr. Rogers also has been named to the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology’s steering committee on Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. As a member of the committee, Dr. Rogers oversees the board’s policies and procedures related to child and adolescent psychiatry, including the national examination for physicians seeking to achieve or maintain certification.
