GHS welcomes third class of Medical Scholars

GREENVILLE, SCGreenville Health System recently welcomed the third class of its Medical Scholars Program. The five-week program began on February 6 and is designed to educate participants about the changing healthcare environment and how GHS is helping to transform health care.

Topics to be discussed include population health management and medical neighborhoods; healthcare costs and what it means to be a healthcare value leader; and the importance of medical education and research in transforming the delivery of health care.

The second class consists of 17 business and community leaders from across the Upstate who have an interest in learning more about health care from both a business and a consumer perspective. Class members include:

The program will conclude on March 6 with a graduation ceremony and presentation on conscious leadership by GHS President and CEO Mike Riordan.
