Girl Scouts invites girls and adults in Greenville County to learn about membership opportunities

The Girl Scout Leadership Experience:  Delivering Fun with Purpose

 

GREENVILLE, SC Girl Scouts of South Carolina – Mountains will hold several informational meetings from late August throughout September to share details about joining the world’s largest and most successful leadership development organization in the world serving girls.  Programs are age-appropriate, girl-driven, focused on life skills, and reflect the interests and needs of today’s girls. Membership is open to all girls, grades K5-12.

The Girl Scout organization is 99% volunteer-led and they come from all walks of life: men, women, young professionals, retirees, college students, and more.  According to a recent survey, volunteers are overwhelmingly positive with regard to their involvement, with 92 percent agreeing that volunteering is a valuable use of their time and that they can make a difference.
