Girl Scouts is not canceled

In fact Girl Scouts of South Carolina-Mountains to Midlands is uniquely positioned to bring the number one female leadership program to your families across our area NOW

Girl Scouts is making a difference in communities across the upstate and midlands.  We are challenging girls to step up, innovate, and grow their leadership skills.  And, it is happening!

For more than a month Girl Scouts of South Carolina-Mountains to Midlands has been bringing girls across the state, and many from other states, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience virtually.

Through Girl Scouts Connected and Girl Scouts at Home girls and families have access to daily programs to earn badges, participate in fun family activities, and hangout with old and new friends.

We have put together incredible virtual programming, and while our membership year usually begins in October, we recognize the value that these online programs have during this unprecedented time of isolation.

So we have put together a plan that offers daily virtual experiences and activities delivered to girls’ doorsteps.

I’ve included a flyer with more information and attached pictures that show some of our Girl Scouts participating in our virtual programs.

The Girl Scout Leadership Experience is a one-of-a-kind leadership development program, with proven results.   It is based on time-tested methods and research-backed programming that help girls take the lead in their own lives and in the world.

Research shows that girls learn best in an all-girl, girl-led, and girl-friendly environment.  Girl Scouts is a place where she’ll practice different skills, explore her potential, take on leadership positions, and even feel allowed to fail, dust herself off, get up, and try again.

Help her reach her full potential:

  • Engage in healthy activities
  • Find her entrepreneurial spirit and enhance their financial literacy
  • Explore the great outdoors
  • Participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skill building
  • Connect with girls around the world
  • Take on meaningful community service projects
  • Take the lead—— in her own life and in the world

As Girl Scouts, we know who we are, what we are made of, and where we will go next.   Let us know if you want to talk more about the resiliency and innovation of Girl Scouts.
