Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands announces Zeke Stephenson as new director of membership & outreach
May 5, 2026Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands (GSSC‑MM) announced Zeke Stephenson has joined the council as Senior Fund Development Manager for the Upstate.
In this role, Stephenson will support the council’s fundraising and advancement efforts across the Upstate region, focusing on building and stewarding relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners. Reporting to Dolly Patton, Chief Advancement Officer, he will play a key role in strengthening philanthropic support for Girl Scouting through donor engagement, fundraising campaigns and events, and support for grants and sponsorships.
Stephenson brings a strong background in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and relationship development. Most recently, he served as Director of Community Impact at United Way of Anderson County, where he led collaborative initiatives, expanded outreach efforts, and strengthened partnerships across the community. His earlier professional experience includes youth engagement and leadership development, followed by more than a decade of service in the local church before transitioning into nonprofit leadership.
A native of western North Carolina, Stephenson holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Gardner‑Webb University and a Master of Divinity from Mercer University. Stephenson brings a thoughtful, relationship‑centered approach to his work and is passionate about advancing mission‑driven, community‑focused initiatives.
