Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands welcomes Dolly Patton as Chief Advancement Officer
July 1, 2025Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands announced that Dolly Patton will join the team as Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), effective July 14, 2025.
Reporting directly to the CEO, Dolly will be a pivotal leader in spearheading philanthropic fundraising initiatives. Her strategic focus will be on strengthening the financial foundation of the organization and driving sustainable growth, ensuring that Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands can continue to deliver impactful programs for generations to come.
With over thirty years of fundraising expertise, Dolly brings a wealth of experience to the role. She recently served as Executive Director of the Arts Center of Kershaw County. Her extensive background includes leadership positions at notable Midlands organizations such as Saluda Shoals Foundation, MIRCI, and Harvest Hope Food Bank. During her 16-year tenure as Director of the Saluda Shoals Foundation, she established successful annual giving programs and spearheaded a $1.7 million capital campaign.

Dolly is a graduate of Leadership Kershaw County and Leadership Columbia, and she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Francis Marion University. She was recently recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential People 2024 in the Midlands of SC by Columbia Business Monthly.
