About Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is a national after-school program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. During 10-12 weeks of interactive activities such as running, playing games and discussing important issues, participants learn how to celebrate being girls. Although it’s not a competitive running program, the girls train together to walk or run a 5K event.
