GLEAMNS Human Resources Commission Announces Annual Community Action Day: GLEAMNS CARES Event

The GLEAMNS Human Resources Commission is excited to announce its annual GLEAMNS CARES event, scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2025, at the James Medford Family Event Center on the Piedmont Technical College campus in Greenwood, SC. This event coincides with Community Action Month, a nationwide celebration marking sixty years of successful efforts to reduce poverty, revitalize communities, and empower individuals and families.

Community Action plays a vital role in addressing the causes, conditions, and consequences of poverty. The GLEAMNS CARES event provides a platform for residents to connect with valuable community resources, learn about job opportunities, and discover health services available in the area.
