Glenforest School 9th Annual Chili Cook-Off And FallFestival In Partnership With West Metro Rotary

Saturday, October 26th, 2013 from 11am until 3pmCOLUMBIA, SC – October 26, 2013 –  Glenforest School hosts its ninth annual Chili Cook-off and Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26th, 2013, in partnership with the West Metro Rotary. It takes place 11am to 3pm at Glenforest School in West Columbia.Come out for a day filled with great food, friends, and fall fun for all ages!

The annual chili-judging contest (featuring panel of celebrity judges) begins at 2pm, with prizes awarded in five categories, one of which is Showmanship.  Although there will be more than enough chili tasting opportunities to go around; chili is not the only thing on the menu. There will also be food served hot-off-the-grill, beer, soft drinks and snacks that are available for purchase.  The event features plenty of other attractions and kid-friendly activities as well including: “Kidzone” area, games and exhibits, baked goods, vendor fair, arts and crafts and an expansive silent auction. There is plenty of free parking.  All contributions and event proceeds benefit Glenforest School student scholarships.

Glenforest School is a K – 12 nonprofit school dedicated to increasing the academic skills and social competence of students who learn differently.
