Glenn Stiegman appointed Chief Financial Officer

Charleston County School District (CCSD) announces that Glenn A. Stiegman, Jr. has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Stiegman has served as Interim Chief Financial Officer during the 2015-2016 school year after serving in the Chief Financial Officer role at various other school districts in South Carolina over the past several years.
Prior to his recent appointment, Stiegman provided consultation services to school districts across the state ranging from assistance with the development and completion of annual budgets, to maintenance and operations review and reorganization and engagement in construction projects. He has also served as Assistant Superintendent of Business Services in Spartanburg County School District 7, Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations in Greenville County School District, and Director of Finance for the City of Greenville.
“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Stiegman to our team,” said CCSD Superintendent Gerrita Postlewait. “His expertise and guidance will be a critical element in our journey to fiscal stability.”
Stiegman brings over 40 years of experience in public and private sector finance to the District and has served as a member of several state and local financial boards and advisory committees.
