Congregation to construct on Cely Lane in Powdersville

POWDERSVILLE, SC – Palmetto Baptist Church has hired Good City Architects, an architecture and interior design firm based in Greenville, S.C., to design its new campus near the intersection of Highways 153 and 81 in Powdersville.  The project is expected to provide worship, education and support space for up to 500 people on a seven-acre site on Cely Lane. It is the first building effort for the five-year-old congregation, which currently meets at the former Bethesda Methodist Church on Powdersville Main.

New PBC location diagram“Palmetto has connected with a diverse group of people from Greenville, Easley and Anderson. We are excited to be part of a new, God-honoring ministry in this community,” said Kurt Stephens, Palmetto Baptist Church’s Executive Pastor. “Good City is working to align new facilities with the vision God has provided for our future and helping us be good stewards of what we’ve been given.”
