Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood Greenville adds two new team members

Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc., (GMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Environmental Scientist Gary Brown, CPESC, and Marketing Coordinator Stephanie Finley to its Greenville, S.C., office. Brown recently relocated from the firm’s office in Nashville, Tenn., while Finley is new to the GMC team.

Brown’s relocation to South Carolina will help accommodate continued growth of the Environmental Department and the Greenville office. He will be responsible for management of environmental projects throughout South Carolina and north Georgia, in addition to growing the Environmental Department’s market share within those regions. Brown specializes in stormwater management, federal and state environmental permitting, wetland and stream delineation and mitigation, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) assessments and documents and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Since starting with GMC in 2008, he has managed projects throughout Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. He has more than 10 years of experience as an environmental scientist and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, a GSWCC Level II Certified Design Professional, TNEPSC Level 2 Certified and a LEED Green Associate. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry.

As Marketing Coordinator, Finley will be responsible for the quality and aesthetics of proposals, qualification packages, presentations and collateral generated to promote GMC throughout South Carolina. She interfaces with the GMC team to develop the focus and organization of submittals, provides leadership for professional conferences and special events, develops departmental procedures and design guidelines and ensures continuity of marketing efforts. She also focuses on enhancing the firm’s involvement in the community through local events, schools and volunteer organizations. Finley brings with her more than 13 years of knowledge and marketing experience in the architecture and engineering industry.
