Maya McCray joins GMC as Design Associate, and Alexandra Schell steps into the role of Marketing Coordinator. These appointments reflect the company’s continued growth and commitment to building communities in the Columbia area.

Maya McCray
McCray is returning to her roots in Columbia after a period in Atlanta. She brings nearly a decade of experience to the team with her scope ranging from commercial and retail to healthcare, civic and education. In her previous roles, McCray has contributed to the design and development of high-quality construction documents and design presentations, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and interior designers.
McCray’s technical proficiency, combined with hands-on experience in client meetings, project coordination, and field verification, makes her an asset to GMC’s growing portfolio. Her ability to blend functional design with creative vision aligns perfectly with the firm’s dedication to delivering thoughtful, innovative solutions for clients.

In addition to her marketing expertise, Schell brings a strong foundation in program development and leadership through her work as a co-creator and coordinator of Fathers 4 Daughters.
