Gov. Henry McMaster unveils Fiscal Year 2020-21 Executive Budget

January 13, 2020

Governor Henry McMaster announced the FY 2020-21 Executive Budget – a budget that invests in the state’s greatest priorities and returns almost one quarter of every dollar from the $1.8 billion budget surplus – nearly $425 million – back to the taxpayers in the form of income tax cuts and a one-time rebate.

The governor’s budget also invests heavily in the state’s K-12 education system, economic and workforce development, public safety, and good government reforms.
